Website

The use of our website www.i2m.at is generally possible without providing personal data. Where personal data (such as name, address, or email address) is collected on our website, this is done, where possible, on a voluntary basis.

Our website www.i2m.at uses functions of the web analytics service provided by etracker GmbH, Hamburg, Germany (www.etracker.com) to analyze usage data. We do not use cookies for web analysis by default. If we use analysis and optimization cookies, we will obtain your explicit consent in advance.

If this is the case and you give your consent, cookies will be used to enable statistical analysis of website usage, measurement of the success of our online marketing activities, and testing procedures (e.g. testing and optimizing different versions of our online offering or its components). Cookies are small text files stored on the user’s device by the internet browser. etracker cookies do not contain any information that would allow identification of a user.

The data generated by etracker is processed and stored exclusively in Germany on behalf of the website operator and is therefore subject to strict German and European data protection laws and standards.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest under the GDPR is the optimization of our online offering and our website. Since the privacy of our visitors is important to us, data that may allow a reference to an individual person, such as IP addresses, login or device identifiers, is anonymized or pseudonymized as early as possible. The data is not used for any other purpose, merged with other data, or passed on to third parties.

Integration of Third-Party Services and Content

Our website www.i2m.at may include third-party content such as YouTube videos, fonts from Google Fonts, or map material from Google Maps. To display this content, it is necessary for the respective provider to store the user’s IP address. We have no influence on whether third-party providers store IP addresses, for example for statistical purposes.

All personal data that you provide to us via the contact form at https://www.i2m.at/Kontakt/ will be processed for the purpose of handling your inquiry.

Depending on the nature of your inquiry, the legal basis for processing your personal data may be, for example, the performance of a contract to which you are a party or the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Your data is required to process your inquiry.

Business Cards

If we receive your business card (at events, conferences, etc.), we will process the data provided on it for the purpose of informing you about our business activities or inviting you to events (see Newsletter – Information Emails).

Newsletter – Information Emails

We process your personal data (name, title, organization, email address, country, and preferred language) in order to inform you about our business activities and events.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in informing you about our activities and events (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), as well as your consent, which you have given by checking the relevant checkbox, handing over your business card, via email, or in another form.

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter or mailing list at any time by clicking the corresponding link in the footer of each information email.

The information emails contain a so-called “web beacon”, i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the shipping service provider’s server when the email is opened. During this retrieval, technical information such as information about your browser and system, your IP address, and the time of retrieval is collected. This information is used for the technical and content-related improvement of our services. Statistical evaluations also include determining whether information emails are opened and which links are clicked.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in improving our newsletter service.

Storage Duration

We store your data for the duration necessary to fulfill the respective purposes of the data processing described above. In addition, statutory retention and limitation periods may apply.

If necessary, we use data processors for our data processing activities. Additional recipients may be specified in the respective sections above.

You generally have the right to obtain information about the personal data we process about you, as well as the right to rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing of your personal data, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability in accordance with the requirements of data protection law.
